Liver Fibrosis Reversal

 79 Year old patient with H/o Diabetes, Hypertension, Allergic Bronchitis, Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease was diagnosed with Liver Fibrosis.  Patient was already on: Gluconorm G1, Ondero 5, Foracort, Veloz D, Roseday A 10, Gemcal XT, Telma 40, Linvas 4, Tofofil. And patient had severe constipation. Diets and Herbs were recommended keeping current medication in consideration.  Repeated Fibroscans in June and July showed a marked improvement in outcomes. Patient is advised to carry on with the suggested line of treatment for another 3 months.

Managing Fibroadenoma of Breast

  Fibroadenomas are common non-cancerous breast lumps composed of glandular and fibrous tissue but they are not common in postmenopausal women. Occurrence of fibroadenoma over age 50 may escalate concerns. While typically benign, the risk of breast cancer increases with age. Sometimes, breast cancer looks like fibroadenoma in imaging.  This induces fear, anxiety in the patient and the family.  In post-menopausal women who is in BIRADS 3 Stage, imaging every 6 months is suggested to track any untoward changes. 52 Yrs old patient, from Mumbai, who had attained menopause at 48yrs age and no HRT, complained of Lump in left breast with tenderness and pain.
